Description

Transitioning to JustGrants

Applicants and award recipients will begin using the Justice Grants System (JustGrants) on October 15, 2020.

JustGrants is replacing the Office of Justice Programs’ (OJP) and Office on Violence Against Women’s (OVW) current Grants Management System (GMS), as well as NexGen, used by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office). Simultaneously, award recipients will also begin using the Department of the Treasury’s Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) system to manage banking information and access grant funds. ASAP is replacing the Grantee Payment Request System (GPRS).

Current DOJ award recipients will be invited to enroll in ASAP beginning in July 2020. JustGrants registration will begin in August 2020. Information on how to register in both systems will be provided by DOJ as it becomes available.

To ensure a successful transition for applicants and recipients to JustGrants and ASAP, training opportunities and additional resources will be made available on this website.

JustGrants Training

Training on JustGrants and ASAP will be provided to current award recipients and new applicants. The goal is to make the transition for all users as smooth as possible. Award recipients and applicants are encouraged to sign-up to receive e-mail updates and to check this website regularly for new content and resources.
